Massage parlor vs escort, in term of safety

in term of safety from LE, which one is safer?

how often do raids or LE set up stings happen for massage parlor?

also, if you are not caught during a raid, can you still get in trouble for visiting them in the past?

The MPs, especially up in and around Tulsa in the past few years carry a high risk for a guy these days! Escorts - well screened escorts is the only way to go IMHO! As to your last question, No! Someone can infer I had my hand in the cookie jar but if I am not caught with the cookie in my hand, or mouth, it is unsubstantiated conjecture! AKA: bullshiit!
Most AMP workers I've been to actually do a good to very good massage.
For me, any extras are just that, extras.
If I am stopped leaving a massage parlour, at my age, I have many legitimate reasons for being there, back pain etc.
If I'm stopped walking out of a hotel, well ? Not to mention the cameras all over the place.
The popo went to a lot of effort to do a sting on Robert Kraft and came up with nada.
I actually think LE may be a little less likely to go after AMPS for awhile because of the risk of lawsuits.

Regarding Tulsa, I had a great massage from a hot blonde working in the back of a new age bookstore back around 1980. Totally legit but, she left me walking 6 inches off the ground.
I preferred massage parlor over escort. Whenever I have an urge, I just stop in a parlor anytime I want to. No need to schedule an appointment, no trace of phone calls, and I'm innocent until proven guilty.

Do the research.

Always keep in mind that hobby activity of any kind is a risky business at many levels, LE is just one aspect of risk.

For me personally, I feel less safe at a studio or MP. Too exposed, too easy to set up a sting. Maybe I’m wrong, but I stick with verified Indy providers.

Without a doubt, I feel safest with a well reviewed lady at my hotel. Second is a well reviewed lady at her private incall.

Everything else is a distant 3rd or worse.

Bet I can answer that.

When a sex worker has a private incall, generally she has to sign a lease and the idea of her having an incall gives her more credibility.

I always had more business when I had a regular incall for so many years. Makes the client feel safe.

In a hotel, well anything could happen. She could run off, she could have someone hiding in the closet (which I've rarely heard of happening and it's never happened with anyone that I've known who was well reviewed. Well, perhaps one comes to mind. haha).

Many men feel most comfortable providing the hotel room themselves, if they're able to cover doing that. Then, generally, you tend to have more control over your own environment.

Same with my own incall. Always felt safest seeing someone on my own turf.

Hope this helps. oopppss. Gotta run. I'm feeding (orphaned) two week old kittens and they're crying for the 8:30 dinner.

Best,
Elisabeth

I'd like to think escorts would be safer, but maybe not as "convenient" as massage parlors, during normal business hours.

With escorts there are a NUMBER of bad stuff that could happen.
- Bait and switch : A provider uses images of another (better looking) provider to lure men to the dept of their cavern.
- Up selling : Listed prices but will sell you on a higher price when you arrive.
- Getting Rob : She collects the money and it's, "run Forest run!"
- Meeting with a provider who is being abused by a pimp and needs your help to contact the police : Seriously, this is a thing.
Sting - Police using a providers contact information and pictures to lure men back to THEIR lair. Aka Jail. The Slammer. The Big House.
ETC

VERSES Massage Parlor

- Never knowing who you are going to get : Massage parlors CAN have a high turn over rate, more so if the ladies are from "Asia" and they are being ran by a human trafficking organization. Massage parlors are the american Geisha House, and they are ran by women who are still as ruthless as those mother hens from back in the day. (Are all massage parlors like this? No.)
- Up Selling? : I mean, they can't really list their sexual actives and prices out publicly, "Service Packages", "Table Bath", etc might be the closest they can get without bringing too much attention to themselves. But in the end, not all massage parlors are going to have the same price and their prices are subject to change without notice.
- Good Service : Having a body does not mean that the massage parlor "Employees" are going to be good at giving service. But with a high turn over rate, "Life is like a box of chocolates, you never know what you are going to get.". You can leave a review for the lady you saw there that one day but go back and she will be gone under the cloak of night.
- Raid : "oop oop that the sound of the police, get on your hands and yo knees". You are either going to see this and keep driving by, or your going to be sitting in the back of a van watching the cars drive by.

The police have their eyes and ears open when it comes to massage parlors and the same with escorts. I mean, this website even says, "Screen Carefully", are there cops on here right now reading this? Sure. Why not? Everyone has a private life. A new business opens up, word gets around, how often do raids or stings happen, it depends.

And no, you can't get in trouble for, "PASS" visits. Unless they have you on camera. To which you now have a long lost evil twin brother!

My point, both come with their own set of danger. DO YOUR HOMEWORK. Think with your brain, not your dick. Regardless of how BEAUTIFUL we ladies are!
thanks for the thoughtful response.

it does sound like MP runs on a higher risk. I feel like all the cops know which massage place is legit and which one is not. But they don't try to raid all of them, only at a random time. Would it be safer to visit one that has been operated for years?

sounds like a well reviewed escort is definitely the safest. I guess sting only happens when you go with an unknown escort that turn out to be a cop.

I was just reading up on massage parlor busts and read some interesting things. First of all the Robert Kraft wasn't a set up for him, he just happened to go to the wrong place at the wrong time. The police got a warrant to put a hidden camera in the parlor. They told the massage parlor that there was a bomb threat to get them all out so they could put in the cameras. That was how they caught everyone. Robert Kraft had his lawyers try to throw the tape out because of the expectation of privacy. Some of the parlors legit customers got together and sued the police department for the very same reason as the tapes were going to be released to the public. One judge threw out the tapes because of privacy expectations and because the police/district attorney hadn't done enough to ensure the privacy of the legit customers.

Another couple cases I read where the customers were arrested or their pictures posted up as "suspects" were taken from video taken from inside the massage parlor rooms by the parlor themselves. Because the police had not taken the video themselves, the video was allowed to be used to convict the customers. Also the police used the used condoms in the trash cans as evidence against the massage parlors. As it's just prostitution I doubt they would go for DNA unless it was a really big fish they caught.

So, while I would have thought that massage parlors would be relatively safe for extras if the customers didn't incriminate themselves, this may not be the case. Anyone else ever wonder if a room in a massage parlor or a provider has a hidden camera somewhere?

So back to the original question, which is safer?
I've never read a report of a ' boyfriend' with a gun showing up at an AMP.

The business areas that AMPs are in have a lot of foot traffic so it's much easier to blend in with the crowd as opposed to a single hotel room or even a private home. The fact that legitimate massages also go on in the same establishments provides even further cover.

Even though the Robert Kraft sting was not specifically set up for him, as far as I know anyway, his name makes a quick reference to the event. Even with all of the effort LE put into this operation there have been no convictions, no proven link to human trafficking and LE themselves have wound up as the target of lawsuits.

In an AMP when I pay for an hour , with rare exceptions, I have gotten an hour , or a reasonable approximation such as 55 minutes. Often I have had escorts charge by activity, once you nut you're done.

With all respect to Claire, compare her lists of the potential downside of each encounter and make up your own mind. I'll take the charm, and skills, of a middle aged Chinese lady over the risk of a younger girl with a pimp any day. Also, respectfully, she is a provider and views AMPS as competition.

In the end they are actually two different experiences albeit with some overlap.

Stings are typically set up at incall hotel locations where the popo have more control over the environment. Or, in a street location with several undercover cops nearby. I've experienced both.

If he has her come to his room, he knows what's behind curtain number 2 or in the bathroom. However, she doesn't know who else may be in the room.

Regarding the Kraft incident , an argument can be made that, as with a doctors office or public restroom there is a reasonable expectation of privacy at a massage business.
