I haven't seen most of them, but I did go with a friend to see Spider-Man (Yawn) and Incredibles 2 (also Yawn). OTOH, the animated short that ran before Incredibles 2 called "Bao" was 8 minutes of absolutely amazing. Glad to see it nominated, it should win the award IMHO.

The Favorite and Isle of Dogs are the only ones I’ve seen that I can recommend.
The ones I a,so saw that I didn’t care for include Vice, A Star is Born, Solo: A Star Wars Story, Bohemian Rhapsody.
Can you Ever Forgive Me was mildly entertaining, but certainly not Oscar worthy.

I'm glad that "Bao" won for Animated Short. I don't go to movies very often and didn't see many on the list last year, but the ones that I did see were mostly a waste of time except for that one.
This year it's pretty much the same story, except that I did like "The Upside". I wonder if it will get a nomination this year.

She has no brain - do you want someone with no brain working for you, representing your company and your brand?
That college degree means nothing nowadays except a student loan you are stuck for the next 20 years.
If I interview someone and they come across as dumb, I don't care if they have a Bachelor and a Master's and an MBA, they will not get hired.
Believe me when I said there are a ton of folks in this world with degrees from the finest educational institution that are dumb as a rock and they can't even perform the simplest of tasks at the most menial jobs - and I have met many of them in my lifetime and I am still meeting them from time to time - even as recent as 2 weeks ago.
Titles also don't mean anything: Manager, Assistant Manager, District Manager, Operational Manager, General Manager, CEO, COO.
Many of them are dumb asses with no common sense and you wonder who they bribed to get those jobs or whose dicks they sucked to get promoted to those positions.
I have a friend who agrees with me that Ocasio Cortez is worth nothing as a Politician and yet he wants to fuck her.
