I CAN'T STAND IT!!!!!!!!

I have to post..... ASPD IS DOWN! So I just wanted to post a Big Thank You to all the people that have supported Eccie! Not just when ASPD is down but all the time. The Owners and Staff here have really enjoyed our journey so far!

I personally have moved here full time---I don't even bother to peruse the other site. In the last couple of months the competitor has not only been hamperred by poor performance, it has also been inundated with just way too many folks trying to nudge thier way into the spotlight---overcrowded and watered down.

Thanks eccie for a refreshingly upbeat approach, a clean look and feel to the site, a problem free interface, and a really cool group of regulars(the number of which seems to be growing every day).

Hopefully the providers will eventually see this as the superior site. What they might give up intially in volume should be more than offset by the quality of the gentlemen on this site who tend to act rather than read. This could only be good for the provider's business.

Becky, I just wanted to say how much I love this site.

Down? Again?! That's too bad. Several PMs obviously won't get returned. Gonzo is not an IT guy but how difficult can it be to buy a few servers and some software so you have capacity and don't get hacked. With all those volunteers and provider ads, they have to be making enough money. ECCIE definitely more dependable, so thanks for that.

It's already back online. One of these days they will have a major breakdown if the owner doesn't repair and upgrade like she should have done years ago.


Edit to add: The multi-page threads where you can click on the links to go to a specific page are missing form the index. This may be a minor thing or at the same time be a major sign that things keep deteriorating.

I like this site more just for the format and usability. Probably because this site flows and looks more like the other forums I frequent for other reasons it's easier for me to use.

It appears to be down now and has been off and on most of today it seems.

Even when its up its slower then hell. I wonder if there is Viagra for a DEAD HOBBY SITE? Been here since March and truly love the lack of drama and IQs higher than Whale Shit and we all know how low that is. Thanks T-Bone & Becky you are the greatest.

This site is so much superior to the other i just don't understand why more people don't use it. There are hardly any trolls over here and it is a whole lot easier to use. I kinda have to use the other site because it has not caught on in Miss yet but when i come to Dallas from now on i'm just gonna use this site for all my research.

I did not want to start a new thread to ask this question. ASPD went down this morning again. It is back up and on the surface it seems fine. There is a major issue if I am not the only one experiencing this. It seems all the new posts are going into a black hole ( no pun intended ). Here is an example of a new post in COed:



I highlighted the title but as you can see, there is nothing there. Only a box for a reply. I logged out and cleared the cookies to see if it was on my end but I tried it again with no success. Is anyone else having these issues? I thought about asking the Mods but what good will it do if my post won't show? Can anyone else confirm I am not the only one seeing this?
