Hi!!

I'm looking for a place to have lunch w/ a close female friend.
We both LOVE Thai cuisine ; but are open to anything that's really tasty.
Any fun places and things to do?

Sure. One of the more casual places with excellent cuisine is the Smiling Elephant on 8th Ave S. You'll enjoy it. At one time they grew their own lemongrass and many of their herbs out in the back.

As for things to do, this will put you in the 8th Ave and 12th Ave district. You'll find plenty of trendy shopping and beverages there.
