Why is it ok for Cain but not JoePa?

Why can you people just wait and see before lynching a human being?

Why do we defend certain people and lynch others?

Could it be that we are one fun'n biased based society?

Are you comparing proven child abuse to possible but unproven acts of sexual harassment? I can understand trying to say that Paterno is not the only person responsible and does not deserve to be vilified but find a more appropriate comparison.

Paterno will not be tried , ever. That is another fact.

The Sandusky guy will have his day in court. I am not defending him but we are still in the USofA last I checked. Let the facts come out at trial.

My guess is the guy will kill himself before trial. That is just a guess.

We agree.

Cain is being tried in the court of public opinion , just like JoePa. JoePa has not be accused of feeling up either kids or ladies. So yes they do differ. but I was not talking about how they differed, I was talking about how they were similiar ... such as people making judgements before ALL the facts are in. That is wtf I was talking about. Not the severity.

We will likely never know all the facts. But I can recognize smells, and this thing stinks to high heaven. The "innocent until proven guilty" is a legal fiction that applies in court. Outside of there, we are free to think what we want (at least for the time being). You don't have to be scientist to do the math and realize Paterno was involved in the coverup for the sake of the sainted, holy and untouchable athletic program. College athletics are dirty, and I hope it doesn't get any dirtier than Paterno.

OJ was found to be not guilty but 99% of the public is 100% sure he is guilty.

All major college programs cheat, its just to the degree they are willing to go . . .

Its human nature to conjecture about such things and its the media's business to sell it.

Now what did that lying bastard Eric Holder know and when did he know it and how much pressure did the White House apply so that Solyndra could have its $500MM payoff?

Yes Cain is being tried by a jury of his peers...a biased audience that was wanting to hang Clinton at the same stage in investigations.

I hope Cain gets the GOP nomination and a jury of the whole country gets to try him in the voter booth, just like it did Clinton.

I agree wholeheartily, that the media is nothing but a business...that is why I laugh when Sara and Rush talk about the 'lamestream media' , something they act like they are not a part of and the stupid Tea Sippers swallow it hook line and sinker.
