It's been a while since I've had the chance to go out in the big D. I would like to find some live music or something really fun to go out and do this weekend. Any suggestions?

Since you last lived here, victory park has finally started to gather steam. The Stars play tonight, and they have a pretty neat "Party on the Patio" before home games. I don't think they charge anything to get in, and there's always a live band.
The new Klyde Warren park opened up last fall. It's the deck park they built over Woodall Rodgers Freeway. They often have free live music, although it doesn't look like a particularly active calendar this weekend.
Downtown Dallas is finally starting to show signs of life, but the best bets are still the areas of town you already know from the old days.
