I don't want to assume Chloe's purpose, but if its for a session theme the easiest place to ask is in a Texas forum.

FWIW I've been in Texas a few times recently. In public (and otherwise) I've seen exactly 2 people wearing a Texas hat. And only a few wearing boots. And most of the boot was covered by jeans anyway.
I noticed them because I was sort of expecting to see a number of hats and boots, their absence made the few I saw more noticeable.
