Send me a picture...why?

Lately it seems that many providers are asking me to send them a picture because it ‘makes them more comfortable’. Why? I could send you any picture or any random guy and say it’s me. Not that I would. But many of us in this hobby need to maintain discretion. Among other concerns. How is me sending a picture doing anything other than put me more at risk of bad things happening? And yes I know - I should get a p411 account. I have my reasons so I don’t need the commercial. Ladies - can you help me understand on this one? I know I’m sounding like I just want to complain but I really do seek to understand. Thanks.

I hear ya - but - safety is hopefully atop the list of criteria when choosing who to 'date' here. And. This is a risk mitigation exercise from both sides of the equation. No doubt screening measures are different than they were pre fosta sesta. If sending a personal pic is too much, and many have said in many threads on this matter that they simply move on and find a date that screens within their own boundaries for safely hobbying.

Maybe arrange a meet an greet for the first 10 minutes of your session? Has worked for me. Can't really do it for QV and 30's but hey, you only gotta do it once

I have asked for selfies to know who I'm answering the door to but it's not a deal breaker because I understand not wanting your pic out there. As far as for screening I don't see the use.

I have sent one a couple times upon request. It is a picture of myself that I have on my own website, so there's at least an excuse of how it can be out there on the interscreen.

Some girls will ask for a snap chat pic, just sent to them. If they ask for you to hold something up, they know you are real and not a stock photo. They know who to look for through the peep hole. As for safety, it makes no sense. If they are looking for looks, then it would be understandable. Plus the snaps disappear.

i never ask for photos. truth be told if i get a photo of anything... it sends me to a weird space. i am totally opposite. it weirds me out the MOST!

It could impact safety. Many providers have been robbed or attacked by their customers. Knowing they have a photo would discourage such actions.

Things are very hot in this industry these days, so i totally understand ladies that do ask. Theyre trying to cover all basis and be as safe as possible. Safety and discretion are 2 of the most important things to me. As well as alot of other professional ladies.

Everything you say applies to the men as well. Safety and Discretion should be the first concern with everyone. Sending pics? Is that really about one's safety, or is it control? The answer is, for most of the time, truly an unknown: that makes a guy nervous.

I have a question on another angle to this. In my area, few ladies I’ve contacted do any type of screening. I miss my KC days when a membership here and/or P411 and solid references (seemed like a huge hassle at the time) took away any LE anxiety. If the LE around here decided to spend a few hours doing a sting, it would be nuclear. I was asked for a pic recently from a lady traveler for a kind of LE check. I didn’t send one, but got me wondering, What are the rules in Missouri for LE on entrapment? Can a male undercover send a dick pic with something in it to prove it’s recent? Can a woman undercover send the guy a pic of her kitty with same proof and still arrest? I’ve been told that LE can do anything they want, including video of them in sex acts and having sex with you before arrest and still make it stick. Like I said, I have no clue. I’ve never come close to an LE situation and it never even occurred to me until I was so blown away how hardly any screening is done here.

It is a nervous situation when you know they don't screen. My very first experience was with a well known girl. She had a P411 account and was active here and on other sites. Within minutes of my first contact, we had a appointment scheduled. The next day, she decided to start earlier and gave me the hotel and room number an hour and a half early. It all worked out for the best. As for the dick pics, I have only been asked once. I told her it really didn't prove anything but she insisted. I was tempted to write first class on it, and text her she could ride first class this time. Lol.
