Anyone know what's going on that weekend? There is a huge rate increase in the hotels for DC/NoVA that weekend. I wanna make sure it isn't some fun event I could miss out on! I like to play too when I play!

It's Father's Day weekend. That might have something to do with it.

If you decide to flee that dreadful increase for that weekend [6-19 to 6-21] and head South (no pun intended *evil grin*) to say Fredericksburg, Richmond or Charlottesville you can see some historic countryside and sites. Monticello and such ...

Nothing that would explain with price hike for that weekend. A few weeks ago during National Police Week, the entire area was booked by law enforcement officers from around the country. I heard last minute prices were triple or quadrupled their usual rates.
But no, June 20 is a mystery to me too.
