Just read that MyRedBook was seized by the Feds. Is ECCIE next?

Yeah, I tried going to myredbook.com and it said it was seized.

Why was it seized? Unpaid taxes or some other reason?

Also money laundering and tax evasion. Have a feeling the irs was the reason redbook went down.

The worst part of this is that these kinds of actions actually hurt the people it's trying to help.

The clientele from craigslist, backpage, or whatever service ends up replacing them are going to be more dangerous than the clientele from something like red book. There are also more violent and abusive pimps on the remaining advertising forums.

Both the providers and the johns are hurt by the closure of red book and similar sites. Only the pimps and other exploiters benefit.

Prosecutors don't fuck around. Look at this indictment, seizure and forfeiture. Ouch.
