I thought that premium access was based on posting reviews. I have noticed that several hobbyists with zero reviews have premium access and are posting in the Men's Lounge.
Is premium access actually granted at the descretion of the site owners without review postings being a prerequisite?

ECCIE is a new site. Many of our members come from and have contributed to other sites in the form of reviews or valuable information. Premium Access has been granted to many recognized contributors, in hopes that they too will contribute to our site.
