Best sushi in DFW?

I'm all over DFW from time to time, and love some great sushi. So what's your favorite? Mckinney to Duncanville, Mesquite to Fort Worth, what's the best sushi out there?

My current favorite is Shiawase in Allen right off of 121:

Uchi is very, very good, thought no exclusively sushi. Same with Nobu and Te Te Robata Bar.

Sushi Sake is supposed to be good and was good my only trip there. But it's to hell and gone out north, so I never went back.

Yataka Sushi is small, but very good. In a small strip center across Boll St. from S&D Oyster Co.

I am also told that Tei-An does a good job with sushi. I only get the soba noodles there -- their specialty. But I'm told that their sushi is almost as good.

Agreeing with TTH Tei Tei is hard to beat. Tataka is five star with out the Nobu dollar expense account and terrible tude.lol

Oichii on Wycliffe is probably the best bang for the buck especially for late lunch. Dont try to go there at noon or 7pm on Sat.

Tei Ein is great too. Arts district if you are going to a show or something.Teach is an artiste.

Uchi is mesch, Not bad but the tude blows. Guess since the new hot spot, ZZZZZ....
My faves are Kenichi in Victory Park & Uchi close to the Crescent.

One of my favorite is Sushi Robata in Dallas off the tollway.
It isn't the most fancy but the quality is very good.

I like the all you can eat at sushi shack in Plano. They have great fried rice too. I think I eat more of the fried rice than the sushi...lol

Thanks for all the contributions so far!

I took a date to Uni Sushi in downtown plano last night. Good sushi, nice intimate ambiance. We each had miso, and split an order of dumplings followed by spicy tuna roll, a freaking sushi burrito, and some shrimpy tempura roll. They were all great. I've never had a sushi burrito, but it freaking rocked. This place is BYOB too, so if you drink, it's a great deal. And it's a block from Two Brothers Cigars which is the best cigar shop in DFW imo

While I don't personally partake of the sushi, I'very taken a couple of ladies to Sakana in Plano with good reports. The teriyaki is quite good.

Neither is inexpensive, however. But inexpensive sushi isn't real high on my list of things I want to find in life. But they are among the more expensive of even the expensive places.
