Yep he is a true freshman and is the son of Gale Gilbert who was a professional QB. He played at a school called Lake Travis which is outside of Austin and if I am not mistaken he led them to a couple of state championships and they won it again this year and have won like close to 50 games without a loss. In time he is going to be a very good college QB but right now he has his plate full.

That TD pass convinces me he's got the tools, just not the experience... Come on, defense... hold em and give us a prayer!
