Private messaging

I had my messages turned off. Now I am trying to turn it back on and it's not working. I went to edit options and turned on enable messaging. And still people can't reach me.

You may limit the receipt of private messages to just moderators and your contacts. Other members who attempt to send messages to you will be told that you have disabled private messaging.
Receive Private Messages only from Contacts and Moderators

Also, don't forget to scroll down to the bottom of the page and click SAVE CHANGES.
