Stood up

I spent a month setting up a date with a provider. I texted her yesterday at noon as she requested and everything was a go. When I texted her my hotel room number she replied "I can't come I'm too tired". It sounded a little too much like my wife. It really sucked!! I'm a bit of a newbie to this hobby. Should I expect this to happen?
Was she a reputable provider with reviews sweetie? Always make sure you are seeing a provider with a good reputation!

So, kicker is, if you try to schedule a backup and both come through, get ready for hell and damnation when you cancel one. Most likely getting black balled as well. Not a lot you can do about it other than post in the men's section in your area to let the others know to beware. Again, it'll happen again and I'm sorry for that.
It happens about 90% of the time, depending on where / how the lady advertises.

If she's got ads on a bunch of sites, some may list a higher "donation" than the one you discovered her on. Most ladies double or even triple book, and at the last moment will go with the one that makes the most money.

Get used to it, don't take it personally, but do your research. Again, the best indicator I've seen so far is how many different sites the lady is on. Personally, if she's on 3 +, I won't even bother contacting her.

I personally would define stood up as not saying anything at all. While it doesn't change your predicament, at least she bothered to say she couldn't make it. I've had girls pull a no-call no-show entirely without the courtesy to even saying anything. Cancellations of various kinds happen quite frequently, but far more so in this industry than most others.

But honestly the men tend to cancel more often than the women. With women hundreds of dollars are on the line. with guys their sex drive could change with a moment's notice drop in testosterone. plus many men in this industry are married and they have "unexpected" family "obligations" come up. the ones who have work obligations come up were dirtbags to schedule the appointment to begin with because they knew they could be called at any time.

My personal suggestion would be not to rent a hotel room, because if you do and they cancel you are stuck with the lodging bill. If the girl in question does not offer in call, you can either risk inviting her back to your residence, or move on to the next provider. Now when I travel I will have a hotel room regardless, so it's not as much of an issue. I make it very clear to my providers before scheduling that if I don't hear from them within 2 hours of the appointment, I will consider it cancelled. if you are worried about retaliation for posting that a provider canceled on you,you can always share it with other people you know privately.

At least she didn’t say her car broke down, flat tire, car accident, lost phone, phone got stolen, abducted by aliens, etc.

Happens all the time, my friend. I wouldn’t take it personally and just move on.
That truly sucks.im sure she will make it up to you.

Luckily I was in that city for work anyway. I would never book a hotel specifically to see a provider.

Unfortunately, this does happen. Although a reputable lady who has been around a while typically would never do that. They know and understand what their reputation means to their business....even with visiting gentlemen who they may only see one time.

You do have the option of writing a no show review on her and posting it in the city where you were visiting.

Name her so we don’t have to put up with it and not have to guess 50 questions
