The Velvet Box. Damn. Anyone wish to road trip with me to Fort Worth???

Until Friday, I'd never heard of the Velvet Box, which seems to be an upscale toy store that has locations in Fort Worth, which in my opinion, has always been a cultural mecca.

So I shouldn't be surprised that this shop just seems absolutely fantastic.

Did a couple's massage and the female was wearing this plus size, diaphanous robe in teal, and GOD ... it was just gorgeous (so was she!).

Has anyone been there?

Is it worth taking a road trip to Fort Worth to visit the place? I found that there is one in Lewisville but is one location better than another?

Any advice would be appreciated. If this robe, and her lingerie (and the toy that she brought) is any indication, I might have just found my new favorite toy/sex store.

I'd love some input from those who might know more about these shops.

Hmmm sounds like a road trip is in my future

Wow! I checked out the website and The Velvet Box looks enticing. I might have to head to the DFW area for a day trip sooner than I thought.

We have one down the road, it's the SO's fav place. The one near us is kind of small but big selections. Not far from it is a Christal's, bigger location but less variety if that makes sense. Between the two though virtually anything you seek can be found

Make it an all out cultural trip.
There are great exhibits at the Kimbell and the Amon Carter museums. plus lots of new restaurants, the new [well, <2yrs old] sundance square, Riscky's barbecue at many locations, a flying fish restaurant south of I-30 and montgomery, etc.

Or advertise that you'll be doing incalls in ft worth and you can get two birds w/ one ft worth stone :^)

Hell, I have driven back and forth to FW multiple times this week. It would have been good to have a tag-a-long. I always enjoy good convo. That is a long ass drive for me!

well, that certainly is a nice website....its the Nebraska furniture mart of adult fun!

I've been there and it's a beautiful upscale store! They have toys and merchandise there that you don't find in other stores. Most is high end and a bit pricey. My friend bought me some awesome toys and a gorgeous necklace that doubles as a tiny vibrator!!

I didn't know there was one in Lewisville! I will go check it out!

I live very close to the North Tarrant location.
VB has lots of trial size packaging if you want to try out lubes and condoms, lots of how-to books and dvd's, full line of primo vibes and assorted bedroom adventure gear.
Do check it out.

Damn, one of the locations in on Tarrant Pkwy. next to Sports Authority. Drive right by it a couple times each week. Going to have to stop by and have a look.....maybe more. Looks like a cool place to shop.
