Touring Chicago soon - Need some advice!

Hello Ladies and Gentlemen!

I will be touring Chicago this fall. Any pointers on good places/areas to stay? PM's are welcome as well. Also, if there are any places worth checking out (museums, restaurants, etc), then please let me know! Its been a while since I've been to Chi-Town.

Areas: Midtown (around ohio), rosemont, oakbrook.

Things to do: Shedd Aquarium, Field Museum. They have fee days too you can checkout on their website. Free days though are crowded and you will want to get there early.

Yeah RiverNorth. I am from NY...we would call it midtown.....I was drawing a blank on the name "Rivernorth" when I was typing that.
