2 hours of crazy: Natasha in Lawrence 7854911136

I was in Lawrence and wanted to see a girl. Natasha consistently posts there but no reviews. I try her anyway, and things seem good at first. She quickly agrees to meet, she tells me the hotel. At no time during this would she answer her phone. Here is the time table of events.

0 mins: I give her a half hour so I can hit the ATM and she can get ready.

0-30 mins: I kept in contact constantly, but hers breaks off last ten minutes.

30 mins: I arrive and ask for room #

45 mins: TWENTY MINUTES LATER she finally says "Hey" That her phone died, and that she needs a few more minutes. Since she's had 45 minutes to get ready at this point, she either double booked or is dressing up for the prom. No response and I drive away until . . .

1 hour 5 mins: She says she is ready. I drive BACK to hotel like an idiot.

1 hour 15 mins: she says she is coming down, she does not. She asks if I will get her a coke from the lobby, no other instructions. After asking for more I go in anyway thinking she might be in the lobby. She isn't, I casually get the Coke and try to look like I know what I'm doing AS I WANDER AROUND THE HOTEL. I end up on a stairwell because there is no camera. No response from her. I put the Coke down in a corner, tell her it's there, and leave the building.

1 hr 25 minutes: I get a room number. THEN a different room number. She asks me to call her. Like a douche I take the bait, retrieve the Coke, and knock on the door. A guys booming voice says "I'm in the shower, who is this?" WTF?! I leave, pronto, once again trying to call. Even though she said to she STILL doesn't pick up.

1 hr 30 mins:
I tell her enough and I'm leaving. She tries to explain she's nervous, she saw two cop cars going through the lot and lied to me about the room number! I tell her I'm a verified guys on ECCIE and give her four names to call as references. She follows with an actual apology and pleads with me to give her a chance. Like a total chump I relent and ask for the room number.

1 hr 45 mins: you guessed it, no room number. She says she will come down to let me in. I ask what door, no response. Don't see her.

2 hrs 5 mins: She says "I'm here" and I say "Im gone". Which I was. She then expresses anger and says she thinks the whole thing was a set up. Christ.

TWO HOURS WASTED trying to see this girl. Yes, I should have walked at waiting for 15 mins, which is my new rule btw. Do not waste your time in this girl, because she will waste HOURS of your time for nothing.

I mean, this is all about TIME isn't it? Given providers always complain about "time wasters" (usually meaning they don't do client development) or have booking practices in some cases that would make an airline blush... perhaps it's time clients tell late providers they owe them for time

I disagree. If I go to a restaurant and their service is terrible and they forget my drink, they don't owe me money. She's the one providing a service here. It was his job to do his research. The proof of her poor and sketchy service was out there for all to see. She's been accurately labeled a time waster and he still chose to waste his time on her. She doesn't owe him money for that.
