Why would a lady insist on a gift card instead of cash?

You can ask? If I was on the receiving end of the gift card-NO! I would take the cash. Gift cards numbers can be stolen, used, and unless she calls how is she to know the current balance?

These women that want the gift cards are on local boards (kittyads). Claim cash is not safe??? For some reason I am suspicious of them.

As long as they don't want it sent to them prior to the date, buy them the gc with cash and give it to them, along with the activation receipt, in person. I really can't see an issue with this payment method under these circumstances.

I pay cash for the asession.

I often give small denomination Starbucks gift cards as a tip.

Dumb question, is the activation traceable if you use a cc to purchase the gift card?

Most the time the ones who want a gift card want it in advance. Scam. Run.

But if they want it at the time of contact, then I consider it a little strange but some women somehow have convinced themselves it gives them (and you) some protection from "money for sex". Don't believe that's true, but if she does and only takes the card when we meet I can live with it.

The only time I have willing used a gift card is with a well established friend. If I know where she likes to shop and she trust me not to scam her (gift cards are a bigger risk for the ladies than cash is) I have occasionally gotten her a card for there if I want to surprise her by putting a little extra on it over and above what she expects.

Unlike some I have seen no correlation between cash/card and the quality of the sex.

I am not sure. I would rather much take cash.
