Concerns about verification services

I was considering going with Preferred 411, but after the Ashley Madison fiasco, I am not sure I believe anyone has a secure system. I have a friend who got caught on the Ashley list and is now having to sell his business and house to settle the divorce. Is there anyway to use a service, but still stay anonymous? How accurate can they be anyway, how tough is it for a cop to have his "civilian" brother do the check so he can get verified? Call me paranoid, crap next I'll have to register my guns....

I was reluctant to use P411 for the same reason, but they do not require as much RW info as I originally thought.

They will accept two methods of verification. 1) Give them your work phone number. They will call that number and confirm that you are the person answering the phone. Presumably they will also do a reverse lookup on the number to confirm that it is a place of business. 2) If you know two providers on P411, you can ask them to verify you. In that case, you do not have to provide any RW information for verification. If you use this form of verification, you get a 6 mo. membership free.

To create your username, they ask for your real first name, the day of the month you were born, the first letter of the city you were born in, and the last 4 digits of some card you carry in your wallet. They caution that providers may ask to see your identification to confirm the what you put in your profile is also what you carry in your wallet. You also have to give them an email address.

Finally, you must pay either immediately, or after your 6 mo. trial expires. They accept Visa/MC, cash or money order, and bitcoin. They do not do recurring payments, and they claim that they destroy your credit card info after they process your payment.

If you can have providers vouch for you, you don't use your real information for your username, you keep a separate anonymous email account, and you use a prepaid gift card (not a prepaid debit card) or cash or bitcoin, they probably won't have any information on you that could be traced back to you. You may run the risk that some providers refuse to see you when you can't produce ID to conform to the info in your account.

I don't recall ever having a P411 escort asking to see any form of id in my 5 years with the service.
I'm in the same boat. I don't trust electronic footprints any more than I do real ones and avoid leaving any real ones. I can't blame providers for being too careful but it sure makes it tough for them to be careful and for me to protect myself.

I don't exactly want to send a large amount of cash via mail. Guess I can do a money order but then that is a big payment for someone like me who only indulges a couple times a year.

i had to do it the hard way since i didn't know two providers that i'd seen that were also on p411. i mostly do the AMP's and we all know how wide open that is! no real screening there unless you "look and act so much like a cop" you probably are a cop LOL. and a vice cop certainly knows how to not act like a cop yeah? ahaha.

the requirements if you don't know any current p411 providers is a lot. i wavered on it for a few weeks but relented as overall p411 has a very good rep.

i had to do the phone call thing also, at work. i also had to provide a bill of some sort to prove my identity and something that verified my work place. that was really scary to do.

i used a scan of my cell phone bill and a login page from my company website.

providing that level of info was a bit daunting!! they do state that once verified all that data is destroyed. so i took a chance and signed up.

so 6 and a half of one, a dozen of the other. their login format is very secure against typical login/password hacks since it's broken up into parts. how secure their website really is? hard to say but they do have an excellent rep so i presume they take measures to prevent hacks. i also took them at their word all that personal data is destroyed. i'm sure they follow up on that as they say immediately after validating you. no reason they would put themselves at such risks to keep that kind of data, that would just be stupid.

one other thing that swayed me to join. they stated they are in Canada. as such, that should be an effective shield against US law enforcement. not to say that US law enforcement could not successfully subpoena them, but it's going to have to go through Canadian courts.

my account is currently de-activated only because the providers i saw that required p411 have either moved on or in the case of leilover have retired. gotdam i miss her!

one other thing to note - some p411 girls require one or more prior recommendations by p411 providers before they'll see you so you might have to see several other providers in order to gain those ref's for those who require this to see you. while i won't call them "throw-away" sessions (certainly not leilover!!) it did increase the cost when you account for that.

providers will state on their profiles if they require prior verification. i've never seen a profile that was more than 2 ref's. many of course will simply accept the vetting p411 does. as posted above, many providers once you are on p4111 take it as a near absolute you are ok. never had to show my id, ever.

Trying to login to p411 i found out my account is locked until i send verification of my age. So im supposed to send a photo of my i.d. and one of me holding up my provider #. This really makes me nervous. So i can't imagine how nervous it must make you guys with all the information they request and when they want to verify your employment. I still haven't decided yet if i am going to send it to them.

I'm in the same situation. I want to join P411 but don't want to send a picture of my license with RW info. Does anyone know an alternate way for age verification for providers? What if P411 clients send you an invite? Will that work?

Thanks!
