I'm in sales myself, so I know how frustrating it can be when a lead doesn't follow through. I also know how hard it is to keep a positive attitude with new leads when so many flake.
I see initial 'written' contact here between provider and client as very cold and dry. I'm always surprised when I meet the girl in person because most of the time they are awesome and full of life.

How bad are most clients at communicating up front and how unreliable are they at showing up on time or at all?

I imagine it's US (clients) who have made you (providers) so direct in your up front convos. Which sucks, because I like that part too Wish it was more flirty.
