Trump has made no major gaffes during the last week and his poll results are improving.

LA Times/USC 8/14 to 8/20 Trump +2
Reuters/Ipsos 8/13 to 8/17 Clinton +5
Economist/YouGov 8/14 to 8/16 Clinton +6
NBC News/SM 8/8 to 8/14 Clinton +9

The question is whether Trump's smart enough to listen to her and disciplined enough to follow her strategy.
All Trump needs to do is stay within striking distance until the debates. Wear Hillary down, go to New Orleans, etc, spend a couple of million, challenge her and to some extent Obama. Make her work...not her surrogates, make Hillary work. Openly ask "Where's Hillary?" "Where's her foundation?"

Come the debates, the media will freak out and Hillary will come across as the tired, entitled bitch she is.

Trump won't even have to rely on an "October Surprise."

Trump has not shot of winning- Clinton just has to coast and I predict she will win all 3 debates because she's plain and simply a better debater than Trump. I agree that his new campaign manager is doing all the right things, but as the old saying goes a day late and a dollar short. Majority of people have a image of Trump and it's not going to change in 80 days.
The media has both helped and hurt Trump- it helped him because it kept him relevant and they made him the media "star" you couldn't go a day without hearing something about Trump, but it hurt him because so many people have painted a picture of Trump- so you either hate him or love him- no one is really on the fence about Trump saying .."I don't know much about him - I need to learn a little more- it's too late.
