Did the self checkout thing, asked for $100 cash back. Like to have a hun or two on hand for "emergencies". I got 18 each $5 bills and 1 each $10 bill. WHAT THE FUCK!? I shit you not!

Same? Nope! But smilies still not available!?

Wait for the mods to flip their switches, turn their dials and get under the hood and tinker.
Soooo were you buying "sewwwwwing" machine materials at Walmart.
Or did you mean Sooooo like you were about to tell a story someone cares about?

Sewwwww, if someone doesn't care about reading a story they should not read that story, eh? Makes good cents, don't it?

I have been using ATMs and whatnot since about the time they were invented. I don't EVER remember getting fives at all. It has ALWAYS been twenties and a ten.

I'd bet it was more of a smart ass employee. The machine grinded and grinded. Actually spit out the cash in two installments. Never seen that before either.

Glad I didn't get $200 cash back!

Every ATM has the history of what ATM users (yes cash back is an ATM function) users have asked for. Sooooo, of course that's what the armored truck staff loads into the machines.
So yeah at Walmart folks just wanting a bit of pocket paper, yeah 10s, etc.

And for ATM's at a bank, if it's that banks client, the client history can also be used (to skip around the machine asking which presidents) to just issue the greenish coupons guys use at a candy store. A whole new set of machines came out about two years ago that are really slick for the options for clients. They can even machine read deposited checks and get funds clearance the next day. It's all about an enjoyable client experience.
There’s actually a bank drive-thru ATM close to downtown KCK of all places that kicks out $100 bills.

It appears that 20s are still the primary pull with 100s a distant 2nd.
Frankly downtown KCK along Minnesota is a rather safe spot for several blocks.

Actually, the bank is was referring to is down on Central. All the JoCo bank ATMs I use spit out 20s max. Interesting...

Well my atm gives me a choice to pick out the denominations. I usually just pick 100's and a 50 if it is needed. Easier for the girls to count. A couple weeks ago I saw a girl and used 20's I already had on hand. It took her a second to count it all out. So I won't do that anymore.
Let me know where those $100 and $50 ATMs are! The one I mentioned in KCK isn’t convenient to me anymore. And the teller at my bank sees me WAY too often for these withdrawals. I’m about to just ask her if SHE is a Timex Girl!

The new machines are cycling in over time as the older machines misbehave, if the bank wants the extra bells and whistles.
Got a few PMs with suggestions. Thanks, guys!
