Is anyone curious about the new Starz series the Girlfriend Experience?

I have seen it highlighted on Starz now for a little while. My true hope is that they do it with some what of an accurate basis. I'm sure they'll take it from a "High Dollar Hottie" standpoint though. It may catch the eye of many women out there considering joining the hobby as a provider... however I think it will set them up for failure if they do.

I've seen the ads. I don't think I need to watch it. The star of the show, (Elvis' granddaughter), is a law student. She gets her assignments from a female pimp. The clients all appear to be millionaires.

It's definitely set in the context of the high end of the business in an expensive city, but it's an ok show. It should make everyone in Dallas feel lucky to be here with all of the amazing talent we have in the metroplex.

Has anyone seen the movie, Girlfriend Experience, with Sasha Grey in 2009? Same director - I think Steven Soderbergh has a special affinity for the hobby world. Check the movie out, it has more grit to it... The clients aren't all upscale, and the subject has to deal with bad reviews, manipulation, and some other hooker drama we have encountered.

I would be interested to hear what the ladies think about the show.
Riley Keough is very attractive in a reserved sort of way.
It looks like drama is coming based on the previews, threats of "outing" and other issues but I can't tell for sure.
This is the upscale setting which may seem unrealistic for some. However, that world does exist.
It works a little better for part-timers without baggage.
Nothing involving people is ever drama free.

Yuuup....I completely agree. I've followed this HBO series since it's debut this spring and have enjoyed the story so far.

Agree as well on Riley (Elvis' granddaughter). I picked up on her right away in last year's Mad Max reboot (she looked soooooo sexxxy, appealing to me in that red hair.....dayum!!!) Needless to say, if Riley was one of us "commoners"....and a real escort....Fuck Yeah, sign me up!
