It would be nice to have a quick button, so that when viewing a provider ad or showcase we can simply click on it and they will be added to our buddy list.

Good suggestion buddy,
On ECCIE it's called "contacts" and all you have to do is click on the uses handle hyperlink and select "add xxxx to your contacts".

Thanks LLP, confusing with different terminology of "contacts" and "buddy List" but glad you clarified that, you guys have thought of everything, glad to be here!!!
