2012 Cowboys,,,, what will they be?

We had a fun thread last season about my beloved Cowboys and it wound up lasting all year. I haven't paid much attention during this off season as to what talent they picked up, and what changes have or haven't been made.
We do know that Jerry Jones is still in charge, so I have my doubts about how well they will do, but I still remain optomistic that my once great team will rise from mediocrity and get back on top. Will it happen this year? Stay tuned boys and girls.

It pains me to say, as a cowboys fan, that I'm guessing we'll be around 6-10 (3rd in the NFC East) with Jason Garrett getting fired after the season. But, I'm hoping for a better season, of course.

During the off season and draft, the Cowboys have improved their defense, particularly the cornerback situation. They should be a lot better team defensively this year. But they did very little to improve the interior of their offensive line. From what I am reading from the different Cowboys blogs, injuries and lack of depth, particularly at the center position, is killing them in training camp. Unfortunately, they will probably continue to have problems with their interior offensive line this season. Also, they lost their 3rd wide receiver (Laurent Robinson) during free agency this past off season and none of the other wide receivers, so far, have stepped up their game to take over this position.

I am still optimistic as always. But I am afraid unless they fix these problems before the regular season starts, they will have another disappointing year.
The 'Boys do some odd things. They let the best receiver they had get away. Like u wrote the only improvement is at corner back and safety. I'm still not sold on this defensive coordinator Ryan. Read a bit of history on him. His defense's at Cleveland and Oakland were mid pack at best. Seems to me his "greatness" is due to his last name only.

Yeah, that's Jerry Jones all over. Get rid of Robinson, who is amazingly solid, but keep Dez and his baggy mall pants. So, far Dez just hasn't shown up. I'm getting tired of Miles' hamstring too.
Jones is the worst coach in the pro's. Make no mistake he the head coach.

He is the most money making owner in the pros, so why should he want to make a go of it?
I think my new team is the Saints - haven't liked the the "Boys" much since Landry and Staubach days of yore!

Wait and see on the cowboys. My surprise team last year, Lions, will probably fall back and not make the playoffs.

Watch out for the Bears this year.

I will start taking Bears v. Cowboys bets any time you're ready.

Bears vs Texans in Superbowl. That's sounds about right.

I'll think about the playoffs/win loss qualifier and get with you to see how we word the bet. Just got back in town and this real life SOB business is taking up all my valuable time.
