Well I got home yesterday and was gonna have a relaxing afternoon grilling brats n watching movies w my grown kids.
Butttttt come 10pm and when I'm dishing up some Blue Bell sundaes,I hear a big pop and get hit with a flood of water!
The hot water heater plug had blew out..that water heater must be the original one cause it's hard to find replacement parts.
Well after it flooded my kitchen/entry way and wash room I gt water turned off and heater drained..every towel in my house and every throw was used for water control lol!
So then I get that issue fixed today and bammmm that problem had caused another problem! I had a kitchen pipe bust under my house..and it was the original steel so they don't make the parts I needed to fix it,so I had my guy rig it up with automotive radiator hose and clamps.
But now I got a plumber coming tomorrow to access the situation and deal with any needed repairs.

Soooo with that being said,I am going to apologize to y'all, cause even though I'm home,I can't host for a couple days.

Thanks for listening and hope the week gets better for me lol...y'all all have an enjoyable week!!!

It's typical..... One thing leads to something else...Hoping you get it all worked out!
Sorry to hear that. Do yourself a favor when the plumber is there and have him install a quarter turn shutoff on the cold water inlet line to the water heater. Much less of a mess next time.
Let your insurance person know about it soon. Flooding like that can cause floor to buckle or other serious issues. Sorry for your trouble.
