The day of President Trump assassination attempt, those were not even Secret Service Presidential Protection Detail agents guarding President Trump.

They were agents from HSI Homeland Security Investigation. They are not trained on executive protection.

The regular A-Team for President Trump was taken off his detail and diverted to guard Jill Biden on order of DHS secretary Alejandro Mayorkas.
