Someone told me the other day that I've been pronouncing it wrong!

Supposedly, it's pronounced "X - SEE."

I've always been told it rhymes with the name of the original owner of the site - Becky

I allies say E.C.C.I.E it a acronym for Escort Client Community Information Exchange. But many people try to turn acronym have heard some people say 'icky' or "uck-ee".
The only people heard say it was woman I like to fuck.
Just like USA stand for United States of America. You never hear anybody call "essay"
However laser stands for Light; Amplification (by) Stimulated; Emission (of) Radiation. I never here people saying L.A.S.E.R.

I've always pronounced it "ex-ta-see" because that's what it brings me.

You can pronounce it like you like. I like to call it sticky icky, because you can get sticky setting something up on the icky
... The Australian pronunciation for it is "Grand"...

I pronounce it E-C.

Most everyone I've encountered pronounced it as Go4it stated, but to me that sounds too much like "Icky" which makes me think of something gross & icky so I just can't accept pronouncing it that way ... lol.

What a relief! I've been pronouncing it right all along.

It's like Tryst. Everyone pronounces it TRY-st.

But then I explain, the definition of "tryst" is "an agreement (as between lovers) to meet" (Merriam-Webster)

And then, it all makes sense
tuckahoe's Avatar
tryst origin: late Middle English (originally Scots): variant of obsolete trist ‘an appointed place in hunting’, from French triste or medieval Latin trista.
Now means a private romantic rendezvous between lovers.
Exactly what Eccie is meant to promote!
The have been discussions over the years about its pronunciation. It is as biomed says. When you sound out the words Escort Client . . . you get the ek sound.

I know it has been way to long since I have arranged a tryst, and posted a review of it on Eccie.
