It would have been nice to know how many states people had actually visited.

I've been to 31 different States (including Alaska). Frankly I found them all to be pretty much the same. Supposedly most Americans rarely travel more than 100 miles from their home. So their "World View" for the most part is formed by Television, Movies, their Friends, & the Internet. As far as the stupid question regarding who should be kicked out. The correct question should have been: "Which states could successfully leave the Union & survive on their own?". Texas is not a bad answer. Since they at one time did want to be their own nation and have plenty of revenue from Oil and other industries located there. But the winning answer should be Alaska. Granted its a state. But its the size of 2/3's of the Continental United States (that would be everything from Maine to California). Has multiple industries generating Billions of Dollars a Year on their own and by rights probably should have ended up being its own Country and not a State.

I feel there should be some realignment to the states. No way Rhode Island and California should be considered equal on any level, yet they are in the senate. The configuration is antiquated and needs fresh ideas.

Cute poll, not sure how relevant it is, but it seems to understand Texas.
As long as we are comparing states, here is one on moods and attitudes:
