It has pro’s and con’s with the biggest pro being in a few short lines, you can see what is being posted while that is the main con. Another pro would be that you don’t have to log on to the site to get the updates but then a con would be you have to manage the information store on your computer.
To each their own. A potential big con for the site would be the bandwidth utilization. I don't know if it would increase it or decrease it but my guess is that it would increase it significantly.
