What up? P411

So I just recently hired a personal assistant who has been signing into my account on p411

Well, they got a clue that there was a different IP address accessing my account. She invertedly entered the wrong passcode for more than three times. So they sent me a message and said I needed to answer some security
Questions

However, the questions
They are asking very personable questions... in like my mother's maiden name and the make and year of the first car that I drove.

I sent a request to their customer service and said I wasn't comfortable sending that information and would they please call me. I have been a member since 2008.
Anyways, they said that's not their policy to call anyone. I'm so disappointed.

I'm not feeling very comfortable about this.

Is there anyone else out there that has experienced this?
.... have got me by the balls.
Gina would never have done this!

I believe that you are the one that sets up the security questions, if I remember correctly.
You got that right!
So you set up security questions in case of a problem accessing your account, you had a problem accessing your account, and now they are asking you the security questions... tbh, I'm not sure what the problem is?
Ok ... Look ... I've been a member of p411 for over 10 years.

I don't remember what security questions I set up.

These days you have to be careful of the hackers and so forth.
I guess I'm just confused because when I tried to contact their customer service ... I asked them to call me and I could answer the questions verbally but they said they do not call thier members directly. That was another flag.
Although, I have talked to a couple of my provider friends, and they have taken a look at what I've received. They seem to think it is legit.
So, I guess I'm going to answer the security questions.
It's just that you have to be very careful of what information you disclose, especially in this business not knowing that it's on the up-and-up.

The key is to make sure the email that was received with the link was requested by you. If not, don't click on that link. Instead, Type the P411 address, click on the login option, then, request a Password reset - a link will be sent to the email address they have on file (if they follow best practices, the link will be valid only for a while - min 2 hrs; max 24 hrs). Click on that link; should provide a means to identify yourself (probably security questions or, if you have 2 FA enabled, option to send a code for immediate verification - max of 10 min validity.

I dont trust the German expat that bought p411.

I used to be a member when Gina owned it.

But not happy my personal info was sold with the company to a Bitcoin entrepreneur. A shady group based in Spain.
Well I am trying to contact my resources so that I can figure out that this is truly legit.
I appreciate everybody's input. Not a happy day when I have to take on p411. I have appreciated their services and access to Quality clients for many years.
It is not like it was when Gina was running it. Although that being said, it is a very good source for clients. Mostly because the clients joined many years ago ... they have a profile and a bio which makes screening very much easier than it is otherwise. I'm in a conundrum about this.

It's a bit saddening.
I don't take it lightly when someone threatons my well-being. However, I'm always willing to figure out the situation.

Oh, BTW ...tech dad... check your PM's ... :-)
Torre... hopefully all is resolved. Still, my two cents...

I think tech dad has it right. Don't follow any links that you might not trust. Rather, go to the site as you normally would and follow their protocol for resetting your password
I finally got an email this morning which gave me directions to have a "chat" with a customer service rep.

They changed my password .... but still want me to send verification information (which I did when I originally signed up) .... copy of DL and or passport ... current Newspaper with me holding my license .... yada yada.

So, I'm off to Albertsons to get a hard copy newspaper.

Not much leeway here .... just gotta go through the motions .... once again! Uuuuugh!!!

Sorry this has been a challenge, but on the bright side, it's nice to know they're careful.

I knew someone who had this situation when Gina was there. Exactly the same process. I do not know the current rules, but with Gina they wanted you to let them know about the booker before she started using the system. Makes sense.
Yes. But my frustration comes in that they're asking for this again. They should have it on record. I had to go through this process when I signed up with p411. The current newspaper the copy of my driver's license or passport All That Jazz. So anyway I'm just doing what I need to do to get my account back up.
I’m glad you were able to get it straightened out. I may be contacting you on there very soon.
