You can't fix stupid, even if you think your shotgun is a cannon

Not sure if this should be here, in the Sandbox, or in the Humor forum.

Some nitwit got kicked out of BFW, went to his car, retrieved his shotgun and opened up on the outside walls of the club. Security guy shot him, but he didn't die.

This is why a google search on "shooting in parking lot" is on my to do list before I head out to a club.

Whenever I read something like this I want to ask, "what was he thinking?" But that's a nonsensical question, because he obviously was not thinking. Maybe it would be better phrased, "I wonder what was going through his mind?" but that presupposes that he has a mind of some sort. I suppose some things are destined to remain unexplained.
