SEVERAL THINGS OBAMA IS GREAT AT GROWING.....

It isn't the employment numbers unfortunately......

1. Obama has increased food stamp participation at a rate greater than he has created jobs.

2. Obama has expanded the rolls of those receiving disability benefits, at a rate greater than he has created jobs.

And Obama thinks he deserves a 2nd term ?????????

too bad Obie isnt capable of growing opponents that present all the facts.

1 ... the recession that ended in late 09 = food stamp growth

2 ... aging baby boomers = disability growth

3 ... partisan hackery = a post that only represents one side of the story
You're too funny thinking that the numbers would be the same if a conservative was in the White House.....even under Bush II, who was a moderate center Republican didn't accelerate the numbers as Obama has, and Bush had the same aging demographic cohorts, as well as 2 economic calamities to steer thru (Dot com bust and 9-11 attacks).
Guys, stop siding with either party. Come to the light! It's actually enlightening to know that neither one represents us.
Obama is too dangerous to play the fools game of brinkmanship in hopes that the LP or some White Kinght constituional conservative will save the Republic.

Even COG knows better; read his Hail Mary (Whirly Might Be Right) thread !

Most of the baby boomers are still in their early to mid 60's. Our 'official' retirement age is 67. Many are still working in responsible white collar positions, and some blue collar. In the next 3-5 years a hell of a lot of baby boomers will be leaving the work force. I haven't seen any numbers but it has to be several million, just due to the sheer volume of children born after the war. What will happen to unemployment then? Will there be an acute shortage of qualified people to fill all their positions? This has nothing to do with politics or who controls the White House or the Senate or the House. How will this affect America's standing in the world?
Here it is. Neither party can be trusted with our money. Only fools call themselves Democrats and Republicans.

September 30, 1980 - $907 billion - approximately what Carter left to Reagan
September 30, 1984 - $1.6 trillion - after Reagan's first term
September 30, 1988- $2.6 trillion - after Reagan's second term
September 30, 1992 - $4.1 trillion - after GHWB's only term
September 30, 1996 - $5.2 trillion - after Clinton's first term
September 30, 2000 - $5.7 trillion - after Clinton's second term
September 30, 2004 - $7.4 trillion - after GWB's first term
September 30, 2008 - $10.0 trillion - after GWB's second term
Today - $15.9 trillion
Icum; you need to get up to speed. Most, if not all, of the anti-Obama posters in the Sandbox do not consider themselves to be Republicans.............don't jump to false assumptions.

You might not consider yourself Republican, but you support the GOP. There is no difference, you're just in denial.
Your an idiot CJ; you just posted that the debt was $14.7 trillion when Obama took office in January 2009.

Ok; glad you think you have my politics figured out.....denial is thinking some national 3rd party candidate will win an election and move the country in dramatic ways.

We got into this mess thru creeping socialism; and the only way out will be thru incremental changes with movements like the Tea Party and such.

The LP (or other 3rd party candidate) has no hope of winning a national election; especially in 2012. Your the fool for thinking Obama and Romney are cut from the same cloth, and would govern the same with the same outcomes for the country.
