Abilene verses Lubbock HOW COLD IS IT? lol

A friend and I was discussing how cold it is in Abilene. I mentioned how I was going to Lubbock and she said OH YOU GOING WHERE IT IS REALLY COLD.. LOL 2 hrs up and it is going to be REALLY COLD. LOL...
I do know the wind is normally higher in Lubbock which wind can make it feel colder.
But to jump to the conclusion it is WAY COLDER. Made me laugh.
Guess 2 hrs makes a big difference. Just like 2 Inches. LOL HA HA.
