Deposit Scam

I didn’t fall for it. 2nd message asked for a deposit.
Thanks for the info, had my eye on her too...but hadn't been able to track down any reviews anywhere. A deposit wouldn't be a deal-breaker for me if she was able to establish that she's a legitimate provider with multiple recent and positive reviews...but that's me.
Same here. Scheduled an hour then she asked for $ deposit. I replied sorry and good luck.

Billy - Almost same. I replied back with “Everyone asking for a deposit is a scam. “ too bad there is no report feature on Tryst.

Not all providers who ask for a deposit are scams, but it's definitely a RED FLAG... especially for a first meeting.

Back in my younger and dumber days, I did go along with "some" deposits if they were reasonable. Then I stopped the first time I got burned. You learn QUICK. XD

I’ve been sent deposits and if I had to cancel have sent them back to the client. Stealing gets u no where in this hobby. Not everyone asking for a deposit is a scam, imagine giving a stranger your address and them never showing up; at least with the deposit u know that they’re probably 95% legit.

10-15 years ago, asking for a deposit was never heard of. It would get a girl labeled ROA-- rip off artist. I would say 99% of deposits are done by scammers. I can think of only 1 reason to ask for a deposit. That is if the girl is doing incall and needs to pay for a hotel. Otherwise, there is no reason for a deposit. Sure, it is inconvenient if a client no shows, but if you aren't out of any money, there is no real harm. No shows are a part of the hobby. I've had girls no show on me multiple times. I've been burned twice with the deposit scam. Granted it was only 25 each time, but still. I sent the deposit, given the hotel room, and then knock on the door to no answer. Not doing it again.

I send deposits to well reviewed/ established ladies I feel comfortable with. I have yet to be scammed by anyone I sent deposits to. Trust your gut, you know that thing that hangs over your thinker
I've helped providers who I had a working relationship on several occasions, hell, it happens... I did get burned once by a provider who many of you "old heads" would know... anyways, I said something about it on this site and was immediately piled on by other eccie members on this site defending her in addition to HER chiming in on this site attacking me for saying something about it, she never denied that she took the money, she can't, I still have the $$$$ cash app receipt to prove it, she claimed that she showed up for the appointment and that I was too drunk or passed out to respond, again, on this site... smh, I didn't have any missed calls or texts on my phone to support her claim, but I don't need them , at the end of the day, she and I both know the truth... whatever, ... long story short, sending any money to anyone is a risk that you have assumed... that's up to you and you need to be aware of the possibilities.
