An ExXxperience NOT Worth Remembering

After waiting for a while I decided to give Rare Madison a call, this was Firday 3/26/10. I called at 1:20 pm and made an appointment for 2:30 pm. I arrived at the country club plaza and called, per her instructions, at 2:20 pm, no answer. Called 4 more times within the next 30 mintues with no answer and no call back. I was really disappointed but I have to a;ert my fellow hobbists that Madison was a no call no show.

I left her 4 messages and ever sent her an email giving her the benefit of the doubt as to a justification for the no call/no show.

No response so I am alerting everyone to avoid contacting this provider. I will update this alert if she provides a reasonable explanation for her rude behavior.

I may be remembering this wrong, but I thought I saw some ASPD reviews that mentioned Rare Madison uses an "assistant" to set up appointments. This can certainly lead to miscommunication.

Not trying to defend anyone here, just curious if you were able to determine who it was on the phone?

Ah, found the old review. Here is a snippet:

Here is what it says about the Alerts Forum on the main index:
Issues which could endanger the safety of a member or members of our community go here. Please reserve this space for legitimate alerts, and not general FYI material.

This thread contains information that can and probably should be shared but it does not warrant an alert. If we flood our alerts forum with discussion material it will lose some of it's value.

I'm moving the thread to Coed Discussions.
I saw Ms. Madison about 18 months ago and my experience was different. A lot can change in that amount of time. Back then she did use another person to answer her phone and schedule appointments. I wrote a review, had a good time.
I'm not trying to defend her at all I only saw her one time. Thanks for the warning.

Employing an assistant to book meetings is a perfectly acceptable practice. However, it is only reasonable that the employer is responsible for any miscommunication that results.
