dumb question here....

How do you insert an image from my computer in my picture file to a post? Never have done this before and tried the search key in all forums but could not find an answer.

Near the end of the page where you compose your post there is an area labeled Attach Files. Click on the Manage Attachments button.

Or you can insert images in your post from a web site...

The image you want to include using this method must reside on a web page.

Enter this...

[IMG]URL of Image[/IMG]

For example...

This...

[IMG]http://s98.photobucket.com/albums/l259/Mokoa57/Aircraft/?action=view&current=Osprey1.j pg[/IMG]

Will produce this...



Nothing to it.

You can also click the little insert image icon "" and it will automagically do the [img] [/img] stuff for you. You need the image to be on a web page somewhere.

There are a number of free image storing web sites if you need to store an image somewhere.

Storing the image on eccie has some limits on size of the image.

Be sure to click on "preview post" to see if the image gets included properly.

If you want to see the formatting of your post, the little switch editor mode icon over to the right shows you the text you're generating.
