Question about Porn Star Providers

I just started providing in Dallas and joined ECCIE this week. Before I lived in LA and starred in several adult films and am continuing to work on my career in the adult film industry. There are times when I go to Vegas and work at the brothels there and I'm the feature girl because of my films. I was told by a couple of people that here in Dallas though, my involvement in adult films may hurt my chances of being successful as an escort because guys here are turned off by it. I was wondering-Is that true? Guys, is a girl being in several adult films a turn on or a turn off for you? and why?

Would not bother me at all. In fact watching one of your scenes during an appointment would be a fantastic turn on.

for me it depends on the types of films, can't be anything degrading

Films and the life style,is purely a personal choice.
I for one do not go out of my way to make appointments,with Adult film Ladys..
Not because of the equipment that most Male stars are required to have..The bigger the Better ? lol
It is 90% BBFS..Even tho they are required to be tested...
All are not fully safe no matter who say's..

I dont have the ego for triples ,porn stars etc..I like to be low keyed in my little world..

I used to go to the Bunnyranch in Reno(before I found aspd).

I would see pornstars for 1K(500 for the girl and 500 for the brothel) for an hour. All of them were non-gfe(cbj, no kissing at all, and most no DATY) which was a big surprise since they were pornstars.

Needless to say that after I found the hobby in Dallas and the boards I haven't been back.

I know for me, being in the adult film industry would have no negative effect whatsoever. Hell, what better way to make absolutely sure that you're legit than to sit back and watch some of your work with their lube of choice..... not that I've done that..... today......LOL! I'm not sure why being in adult films would be a turn off since the entire point of porn is to make you lust after whatever starlet you are watching. The fact that you are actually fulfilling this fantasy for your lucky clients should actually help your business. Hell, I wish more porn stars were providers. I know several of my favorites (Gianna Michaels, Savannah Gold, among others) do provide, although their fees are quite steep and out of most price ranges..... now THAT seems to be the REAL turn off to me! =c)

If clients at the brothel are not concerned you are a porn actress, I wonder how clients in Dallas are different? May be the clients who did not select you at the brothel had the same concern?

May be there are guys who don't believe they can get the girlfriend experience (if that's what they seek) from a porn actress. Are your films more extreme (e.g., fetish or S&M) than mainstream porn?

I am new to the hobby but I am with bd18250, I think it would be a complete turn on to watch one of your films during our time together.

I don't see a problem unless your notoriety affects your donation rate (upward). My sense is that hobbyists here are relatively spoiled--possibly because there are so many beautiful providers and cost of living is comparatively low--compared to other areas, and they expect lower rates than most of the rest of the country. There is another recent thread on this board about Porn Star Providers that you can refer to and get an idea of the different views taken of the industry by local hobbyists.

Uh huh...so snap some wheels on my ass and call me a wagon! The label "porn star" attached to a Provider hits me the same way as "Estate(s) attached to a development; namely it'll cost more $ and it'll likely not be worth what you paid. I'll take a local Dallas girl over a "porn star" from anywhere any day.

Chillster, I'm sorry about your experiences in Vegas, I assure you that I am very GFE, BBBJ and really do enjoy providing.

My rates aren't any higher than other providers on here and I think that I have as much or more to offer because of my experience.

S-man, I've done a few fetish films and some bondage but have also done mainstream stuff too. I'm open-minded so will try new things but I don't think this really affects my being able to provide a passionate GFE session.

Why would it matter if you have been in movies before?
It shouldn't matter since you are still giving them a hell of a good time in bed. I don't think it should matter that you got your fuck on in a movie verses in a hotel room with a client? LOL! It seems like it would pretty much equal the same!

Now if you were not using protection in the films that might bother some guys but for the most part I am pretty sure alot of the gentlemen on this board aren't going to complain that you are a former porn star.

I know two other ladies who are former porn stars and they do very well. I think it just really matters on you as a person and that you offer a great time to the gentlemen. Thats what really matters. The gentlemen on this board just want to have a good experience with the provide that they choose.

A couple of questions:

Under what name did you perform in the movies? Do you have a list of movies that you have appeared in?

The bareback thing could be an issue, but at the same time, if the current client is using a condom then it shouldn't be too much of an issue. Sure the condom could break or fall off I suppose, but the other side of the argument is that many providers provide BBFS at times, it's just not filmed, and they obviously would never tell you about it.
