To The Music Lovers....

Grooving on a band I had heard a few times before, but just now figured out their name LOL. Takes me a lil while since I never listen to the radio or watch music videos much LOL.
Youtubed some of their songs from an album, and absolutely love them!!! Thought I'd share with other music fans. Super stoked that I found something new to add to my already huge eclectic music collection.

I'm a big music fan also. So how would you discribe their style (pop, modern, new wave, punk, rap, r&b) of music.
Just discovered Shannon Curfman on Bob and Tom yesterday. Incredible little blues-y rocker chick.

LOVE the title cut from "What You're Getting Into"; she reminds me of Ruby Starr and Sass Jordan.

Geez trying to stump the poster eh? LOL I guess I would say Alternative Pop in my opinion. I believe, I could be incorrect, that they are a French band. I read something that called them a "French Alternative Rock" band. I just love so many different types of sounds, and it is always an exciting day when I find something new to acquire.

I am a big fan of Kenny Wayne Shepherd, she reminds me a bit of him, too.

I always wonder what the hell ever happened to Sass Jordan - I KNOW what happened to Ruby Starr; Ruby was the female lead for BOA, she died of cancer quite a while ago now.

Anyway, glad you liked the find.

Speaking of which...I was walking home from a meeting last night. Guess who was at the Uptown Theater?...Phoenix / Wolfgang Amadeus. Was so thrilled. Walked up to the window to buy a ticket. They were sold out. I was sad lol. I'm too chicken shit to buy from scalpers lol, I'd be the only one to buy one from an undercover officer (if they still do that at concerts/games) LOL. Oh well, always have YouTube LOL.

NARVEL FELTS

Well, pink and black clothes was the fad
And oh what a real gone time we had
When we had, those rockabilly ways
Way back, in the pink and black days.

Well, I remember Elvis played at the B & B
At Gobler Missouri, so did Jerry Lee and me
And we had, those rockabilly ways
Way back, in the pink and black days.
Yeah, there was a pink and black
A fin tailed Cadillacs
Yellow Sun Records from Memphis were slap back.

And at a drive-in theather in Dexter Mo.
With Roy Orbison and Eddy Bond we did a show
And we had, those rockabilly ways
Way back, in the pink and black days.

Yeah, there was a pink and black
A fin tailed Cadillacs
Yellow Sun Records from Memphis were Slap Back.

And at the Casa Loma Ballroom in old St. Lou'
Gene Vincent and his band wearing caps that were blue
We had, those rockabilly ways
Way back, in the pink and black days.

Yeah, there was a pink and black
A fin tailed Cadillacs
Yellow Sun Records from Memphis were Slap Back
Way back, in the pink and black days
Way back, in the pink and black days
Way back, in the pink and black days

ROCKABILLY FOREVER!!!
Do you remember when KKFI 90.1 used to do Rockabilly on Friday's? Not sure if they still have that segment anymore. Used to love listening to that! Also used to enjoy the Walt Bodine show too LOL. One time I called in, and like 2 minutes later all of my friends were calling my office asking if I was just on the air. I'm like...you listen to 90.1 too LOL? Silliness
