NCNS

I was NCNS today and am slightly pissed! First of all I’m far from being on time. I’ve been late quite a few times myself and I don’t expect anyone who’s late any slack. An hr is an hour. I can say that there have been times where my visit was cut short of it because of my being late. Either I had somewhere to go or she had other things going on. Then awhile ago I was late. She called back and proceeded to chew my @ss out telling me I was late and couldn’t wait for me etc. I tried to explain that my drive, the conformation and the actual distance I had to drive just didn’t work as planned. Well I was caught a bit off guard otherwise I could’ve explained but wasn’t expecting our arranged 75 minutes to be extended. I should’ve called. I have no one to blame but myself. I feel bad that she spent time also to meet and I owed her that and I plan to take care of that.
Now back to the NCNS. Here it is over 4 hrs later which by the way is the amount of time it takes for me to drive to Dallas and get back to the office… I hope that nothing has happened to her that’s for sure. I’ guess I’m just pissed off and venting my frustration. I guess I’ll give her time to give me an explanation and go from there Well the weather here is wet and no snow Man! Sure was pretty there in Big D. I wish I would’ve waited around. Who knows I may have got lucky

If your 20 minutes late for a date, your lucky if a provider will even see you. If see is a busy provider, you will screw up her schedule if your not close to being on time. Showing up 20 minutes early is just as bad and i have jerks do that and cut in on my time.

But if you're saying that you schedule with a provider and she shortens your time because another guy is late?

I put that in a NCNS post to say I understand things happen!
So sorry chas...

I have clients that run late at times. Sometimes, we just cut the session a little short but NORMALLY, I allow plenty of time in between to allow for such.

20 minutes is a fairly substantial chunk of time but I wouldn't have blown off the appointment. Personally, I might shorten the time but 10-15 minutes and just have to rush a little bit before the next appointment. I wouldn't have canceled but that is one of the beautiful parts of having "mixed" clientele and that is just me.

Sorry this happened to you.
