The chances of Matt Gaetz being approved by Congress are probably 1 in 10. Trump knows this. Yet he puts Matt Gaetz forward.
Is this the beginning of what is going to be the 4 years of Mr. Trump ? This is how to make America great again ?
This d-u-u-de nails it!I hate to repost WYID but this is pertinent.

If you don't want Tulsi Gabbard to be Director of National Intelligence, you shouldn't have written a fraudulent letter about Hunter's laptop.
If you didn't want Robert Kennedy to be Secretary of Health and Human Services, you shouldn't have covered up the origin of Covid.
Democrats should spend some time in introspection but its probably beyond most of them.... Originally Posted by texassapper

If this was a novel by Grissam or JRR Martin, the Gatz and Nome nominations would have been made with the expectation of strong bipartisan resistance resulting in circus hearings as was the case for some of President Trump's Supreme Court nominees.
When these nominees are not approved, my novel character president would then nominate someone more credentialed and . but someone the progressive left really doesn't like. With the previous bruising hearings fresh in their memory, it may be that the Republican senators fall in line to move the Trump agenda forward . . .and SHAZAM . . .the real nominees get a rapid confirmation.
Anyway, that is what I am hoping is the case. . . .a feint within a feint. Originally Posted by ICU 812
