What part of town is safe and convenient?

airport area will get the most traffic i think. any of the big name chains are safe. look for anything that's just north of I40 and off of Donelson Pike.

I am there myself next Friday evening and Saturday morning. I have opted for the Hampton Inn and Suites downtown. Hopefully there will be some good food and drink in walking distance.
