Providers doing no-shows

Ok, so I've been hobbying for about 7 years now.

About 5 years ago, I recall a rough stretch where I had a long string of no-shows. But then things got better. In the past few months, however, I've unfortunately noticed an increasing amount of no-shows.

Here's how it goes down:

We exchange a basic greeting, I tell her I want outcall, she asks for my address, etc.

Sometimes after I give the provider my address, she'll say she's on her way. But then she never shows up. Sometimes she won't even reply at all once I give her my address (it's not a poor area; I don't think safety concerns are the reason).

Has anyone else dealt with a lot of no shows?
In today's market where demand is outpacing supply, it's not you. She received a text/call after he text exchange with you that paid her more $$ or maybe a regular that she has seen before.

I wouldn't out think it, at this point I would concentrate on your online presence.

Build reviews, participate in the forums, and see providers who are newbie friendly.

No shows are part of the deal. Try to not take it personally because there are a million reasons for the no show, some valid and some complete bs. I try to have a backup plan but that isn’t a guarantee.

On a related note, are short careers common in the escort industry? Because in the 7 years I've been hobbying, I've seen many escorts come and go. While some end up posting in other states (clearly they moved), most end up dropping off the face of the earth entirely.

It's frustrating how I build a good reputation with an escort, only for her to end up leaving the industry. Then I'm right back to square one with being a newbie.

As long as today need is met, most providers and thinking I will worry about tomorrow tomorrow
Market has a lot to do with it. I've had some no shows in Vegas. But nowhere else ever. If I'm wanting outcall I do it from a hotel room. Feels a bit more neutral for them I've heard vs a private residence. Fizley made some good points.

The string of no-shows back in 2017 were right after backpage shut down. I chalked it up to the fact that issues are inevitable any time a major platform shuts down.

I've been using mainly listcrawler ever since the backpage shutdown. Other than the bad luck I had in 2017, as well as the bad luck these past few months, I've found listcrawler to be pretty reliable.

That being said, I unfortunately feel like we'll NEVER go back to the convenience we had in the backpage days.

Certainly preference. Gives me the heebie jeebies thinking about a provider knowing my address...unless she is of the higher end variety. A lot of robbery stories I've heard about....I've never tried listcrawler

I hear providers say they have zero tolerance for time wasters. But what about the client's time? It's a waste of the client's time when you blow us off (no pun intended).

As you pointed out, sometimes the backup plan can fail too.

I have similar rules, if she's short on replies, and then 45 min to an hour passes, Im booking another provider. I can't tell you how many providers Ill have a 5-7 text convo with to get rates, establish Im close enough and not a cop, then they just disappear. and 2-3 days later, they're texting, saying phone died, baby daddy drama/ whatever, and they're ready to go now like nothing happened. But you don't reply in .00000002 seconds and they're already doing the "?" text and accusing you of not being serious..

I had a provider in ATL tell me that if its after 6pm, she purposefully waits an hour to text anyone back, and then she just lets them hang another hour to see who's serious about her. I replied with " that must be why you were so prompt with me, because you ran off all the other business you had tonight".. That was AFTER our session of course. lol

I am not chasing pussy I have to throw money at too. The effort and chase is reserved for married women, tinder girls who aren't smart enough to charge anything more than $12 in drinks before heading back to my hotel.

I had a provider come to my house once. I will never do that again. She was nice and not super sketchy, but she clearly looked like she was casing the place as it was worth 10x more than any house she had ever spent time in... Her "ride" outside really bugged me and I had to run interference with the neighbor who knows everything, because they didn't park in the back entrance like I told them.

What's expected from a bunch of amateurs? The Men with the $ willing to fork out hundreds of dollars hourly VS someone who had no other way to make $ getting into this overnight and offering services. That's the reality of this gig
