Escort requires live show before meeting

Purchasing the live show is $25 and it's included in the incall/outcall. But you must pay for the show before meeting. Are these actual escorts or just $25 scammers or something else?

Scam....and then they have your credit card number too. It will cost you a lot more than $25 before its over.
Scam. You might as well just hand your credit card to some random stranger on the street.

Sad to say but I fell for this once a very long time ago, while it was a scam it wasn't the experience you guys described. Some of these cam websites give people credits for referring people to them, so I foolishly thought the person who claimed they "would meet after one show" was another way of breaking the ice before meeting. I contacted them on Yahoo and used their referral link to create an account and purchase $25 worth of tokens to the camsite when I realized what had happened. I was at least careful enough to verify the authenticity of the website though, but even then I thought it was a real camgirl who was talking to me. I thought that even if I don't get to meet in real life, I'd still enjoy a little camshow from her... whatever. Wasn't thinking straight. Anyway, I had to sit through a very boring few minutes of private chat with someone from Thailand "hou uuu bby?!?!" just to spend my tokens and delete my account. Every few minutes the "curtain" behind her moved as though there were more people sitting behind her, kids, family members, more women, who knows. Stupid, very stupid, I know.

After you agree to pay them through WU or w/e method they ask - that model takes your money and your time and goes -->

I've never been a victim, I've been too smart to fall for it. but..I've been on the hacking scene for a looooong time!

...but ya didn't hear that from me.

usually it's someone that's a affilate of the cam show host, (anyone can become a affilate for almost any webcam or porn site) they just have you use their affilate link, when you sign up they get a percentage of the sale, and you get to watch a webcam, that's about it.

Used to see lots of these gals advertise in Craiglist, on the adult activities section, claiming to be escorts. A few of them on BP also in escorts section, although haven't seen them on BP recently. Got scammed by one, sent her an email, calling her on that. Told her she wasn't an escort and asked why she advertised as such. She claimed she was offering same services only not in person. Told her she was a sham and left it @ that.
sounds like a scam to me.
