Too many rules/restrictions/ crybabies

This forum has too many rules and restrictions. A lot of whiners and crybabies. Would be much better if we could say whatever.

I fear we are no longer a democracy that serves the many! We have become a society that serves and enables the few !

I couldnt agree more, when i was very active on this site under my old username, this site was actually worth something but since the site ownership soooo afraid to get into trouble with the law because of fosta law its made this site unusable or useless by many i have spoken too since now everyone is sooo damn paranoid
I have yet to see a complaint from a single provider about the new changes

The changes are something to get used to. I understand their concern, but at the same time, come on!

For example, today I wanted to get my post up, meet some clients, have an awesome weekend, however - now it takes up to 12hours to approve the post's contents. I posted my ad around 8am, and it's still not up. Probably denied by Admirral Giggle. lol.

I have great news for those of you complaining about the rules of the site, you are free to leave and start your own. Very simple solution. Don't let the door hit you in the ass.

Interesting comments.

The most humorous ones are those that imply the site should not worry about the legal changes. So nice of some people to volunteer what risks other people should take.

Concerns about how long it takes to get a post approved--if it is typically taking that long, I can understand the frustration.

"I can't say what I want!". Odd, the site still allows basicly the sane information exchange it always has.
It does require a little more work, a greater use of PMs, and a bit more careful wording--but it is vastly better than no site.

The biggest complaint I have is the number of ladies who have disappeared. Some of that may be due to the recent site changes, but there was a decided reduction in their presence BEFORE the site went dormant. Too many felt it was becoming a site hostile to them. Others I keep in touch with had thought about leaving but stayed around out of habit--but then when the site came back up they had had to adapt and found they didn'tneed the harrassment they felt from being on here.

It will be interesting to see how it plays out. I think the membership demographics are indeed shifting towards a smaller percentage of ladies--and it is becoming more of a "boy's club", just as some guys have said it was supposed to be. But now a lot of other guys are discovering it was a lot more fun with more ladies around.

I think the people complaining about the "newer, kinder" Eccie may have little understanding or seemingly none at all about how far reaching this Sesta/Fosta shit really is and the liabilities owners are taking just by owning a site like this.

"Sex Trafficking" is the new Satanic Panic of the 80's and the implications of such cannot be over exaggerated.

Although it's impossible to tell what the fallout may be when these laws are actually enforced, they could certainly be heinous. Providers losing livelihood will be absolutely dire, and owners looking at a laundry list of federal charges is not outside the realm of very real possibilities.

Overnight we lost our provider descriptions on P411 in anticipation of this legislation and it's just gonna get worse. So, while it may be difficult to navigate the new rules of the site, I do appreciate them still attempting to provide a forum for us to converse and meet, because they sure as hell don't have to. Keep in mind that this can all disappear as of Jan 1. I'm grateful for what I have now.

Even though the first lawsuit against Fosta got tossed, I'm wondering when some of the big civie social boards will file lawsuits when (not if) they get caught in an "inadvertent" violation.

I think ECCIE is better, since the crackdown on Trolls, shills, and guys who hurl insults with every post.

Truthfully if it shuts down in the new year, nothing is lost, it has already been lost.
All the remains is the flogged horse.
