Understand exactly what you mean.

Lately, there have been moments (more than moments of time) that I've thought how nice it would be to just have some quiet and intimate time with someone without feeling the need to go "balls to the wall" each time we're together.

Resting. Cuddling. Feeling safe and in a caccoon of warmth and feeling taken care of if only temporarily.

Maybe a few kisses. Some shared massage.
