What I think is criminal is the way some of these indirect "victims" (like the guy who couldn't rent his timeshares, as an example) are holding up deep pockets for their "$20 -40,000"

At some point we need to realize shit happens and take our lumps.

The next time some guy wrecks this car on the interstate and backs up traffic for a couple of hours should the couple thousand people late for work band together and file suit for the opportunity cost of their time?

Obviously there is a good deal of sarcasm in the above...but when the dust settles the number of people that made bank on these settlements will be legendary.
