I am finally making a trip to Houston but need some help...
It appears to be a pretty big city and with every city there is
good and bad... What would be a good area to stay? I want to
be close to downtown if possible... Not in Downtown, just close.

Any areas I should stay clear of? Any hotels I should stay clear of?
I always stay in nicer hotels so listing any motels is not necessary...

Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!

If you want to stay close to the downtown area then i would suggest medical center and river oaks area
