What is a good area to stay near the convention center.

What is a good area to stay near the Dallas Convention Center that will not cost me an arm and a leg? I want somewhat reasonable rates, but also dont want to have to fear walking to my car.

Visiting dallas for the Exxxotica 2015 the weekend of August 7th. On that note, is anyone going to the convention?

Priceline bid on a 4star hotel downtown.

The Omni will be the most convenient, as it is connected to the Convention Center... But, it is expensive ($300+) per night...

Downtown, I would checkout The Magnolia or Hotel Indigo... They have pretty good rates on Hotels.com and both have shuttles (even though you might have a car,parking around the Convention Center is expensive)...

Also, check out Hotel Belmont and The Hilton - Anatole... Both cool places, within a few miles of The Convention Center and good rates on Hotels.com..
